The Walking Dead Season 5 EW Covers Revealed

The Walking Dead will be featured on four different covers to the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly.

The four covers feature Daryl Dix (Norman Reedus), Michonne (Danai Guerra), Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), and Glenn and Maggie (Steven Yeun and Lauren Cohen.

Lincoln tells EW that parents will want to put their kids to bed before watching the new season.

"We're really earning our rating this season," says Lincoln. "There are families that watch it together, but just so it's on the record, guys—it's a grown-up show this season."

The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman says audiences should expect things to move quickly in Season 5.

"By minute two or three of our season premiere, I think the vast majority of our questions have been answered," says Kirkman, "and five or six more have been presented, so you're very much going to be invested, well-informed, and ready for the ride that we're going to take you on."

The new issue of Entertainment Weekly will be available on stands August 29. The Walking Dead returns to AMC in October.
