'Justice League's Ray Fisher Reveals Cyborg Easter Egg In Batman V Superman

Long-awaited characters like Cyborg and Aquaman are finally set to make their debut in DC's cinematic universe when Justice League premieres this week, but director Zack Snyder has been planting the seeds for their appearances in his previous movies.

Cyborg actor Ray Fisher recently revealed a certain easter egg during a discussion with DC All Access, harkening back to the Batman and Superman fight film.

"I think the beautiful thing is the connectivity," said Fisher. "Because if you look at Batman v Superman [Dawn of Justice], when Gotham City University is getting destroyed by Metropolis [in football] 50 to nothing. If you track it back timeline wise, that would have been just around the time Victor Stone, who was their all-star quarterback, got into his accident and was no longer able to be a part of the team."

"So they started getting run," added Batman actor Ben Affleck with a laugh.

"They needed Viccy Stone to come help," Fisher joked.

It's a small moment, but one that has major implications for the connections between the League and also indicates how much Snyder considered when plotting this story.

Aquaman actor Jason Momoa added his own anecdote, saying his character plays a part in the events of Snyder's Superman movie.

"I'll give you a cool little thing that's not in this movie, but what Zack told me his idea for what he was doing for Aquaman," began Momoa. "In Man of Steel, when Henry [Cavill] is saving, on the oil rig, he's holding that up. And all the sudden you just see him, he kinda floats up on the ocean.

"[Snyder]'s like, 'I had Aquaman save him, so that they did cross paths at one point.' So when Bruce goes, 'Have you heard of [Superman]?' I'm like, I have. We have crossed paths."

The path to Justice League has been built up over the course of four different movies, with Snyder overseeing every step along the way. He is commended as being a meticulous filmmaker with his action scenes, but it sounds like those sensibilities stretch to the plot and mythology as well.

Justice League premieres in theaters Friday, November 17.
