Bright Lights: Starring Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds' premiered on Friday night and the world was watching, including stars and fans alike. The HBO documentary was filmed over the course of 2014 and 2015 with interviews from Reynolds, Fisher and a very intimate look at their mother-daughter relationship.
Fisher, known for her role in Star Wars, passed away after suffering a heart attack on a plane. She was on her way home from a trip to London. She passed a day later on December 27, 2016. Reynolds, heartbroken after seeing her daughter pass, told her son that she wanted to be with Carrie, and passed away from a stroke the day after Fisher on December 28, 2016.
The two actresses weren't always close, but in their later years, they were inseparable. Both will be dearly missed.
