When The Walking Dead ended its sixth season, it delivered one of the biggest cliffhangers in television history. But you know that by now.

At this point, we're all wondering, "Who did Negan kill?" With that, though, comes the questions of, "How in the world will they keep it a secret until October?"

Knowing that a certain cast member will be accepting other jobs, not on the Atlanta set, and out living their post-Walking Dead life, as well as a trailer coming in July, it's going to be tough to keep the victim's identity a secret. The Walking Dead's exectuive producer and VFX guru Greg Nicotero is well aware of the challenges ahead but he's prepared to use some trickery to maintain the show's big reveal.

"The minute you see somebody not on their knees in front of Negan, you may have an inkling," Nicotero tells Moviefone. "But listen, sometimes the show has flashbacks and sometimes the show jumps the timeline a little bit. I mean, this season, the first episode jumped the timeline a bunch of times. So we could potentially shoot footage that would have taken place before that."

The Walking Dead will return for its seventh season in October. Expect a trailer to surface from San Diego Comic Con in July.
