AMC will air the next new episode of The Walking Dead. It is the sixth of Season 7, titled, "Swear."

The official synopsis for Swear reads, "Someone stumbles upon a brand new society, and this society is unlike anything seen before."

That "someone" will be Tara Chambler. Tara and Heath have been out on a seemingly unending supply run since late in Season 6 but, technically, only about a week has passed in the current season. As for the new community, it's anybody's guess. Already introduced this season have been the Kingdom and Saviors.

Showrunner Scott Gimple is looking forward to the group being introduced as a well kept secret.

"If we've gotten this far without saying anything about them, I'd like the audience to discover this group when it's on screen," Gimple said. "I mean, it's not the Whisperers. I will also say, though, that it's not impossible that the Whisperers could come along or aspects of them could come along earlier than the timeline of the book, but certainly not this early."

The episode arrives on the heels of an episode which followed Maggie Rhee at the Hilltop as she continued to emerge as a leader. However, the biggest story is that Carl and Jesus are hidden in the back of a Saviors' truck headed straight for Negan's Sanctuary.
