The Walking Dead and Ride With Norman Reedus star Norman Reedus says his restaurant is a prime spot to sober up after drinking. Reedus, who co-owns Nic & Norman's bar & grill in Senoia, Georgia with The Walking Dead executive producer Greg Nicotero, told The Late Show With Stephen Colbert the restaurant offers "southern, feel-good food, and a lot of it."

When asked by Colbert if it's a family restaurant, Reedus answered, "If your whole family got drunk and went there and needed, like, sobering food, it would be like that."

"Right from there, right to the family counseling," Colbert joked.

Reedus said the eatery offers "Things fried, and mountains of gravy on stuff fried." Nic & Norman's has proved a popular destination for fans of The Walking Dead, as the hit AMC series shoots nearby.

Reedus — who admits he doesn't "really eat meats" — mentions a running burger competition he has with Nicotero, with Reedus' pick offering a bison patty, slice of beetroot, spinach, onions, fried egg and mustard, with Nicotero opting for a proprietary blend of ground chuck, short rib and brisket patty with blackened seasoning, blue cheese, baby blend lettuce, onions, tomato and N&N sauce. Both burgers will run you $15.

"We have partnered with our suppliers to provide the freshest, highest quality, sustainable, natural, non-GMO foods using local products whenever possible," reads a statement on the official website. In addition to gourmet burgers and not-a-burgers, Nic & Norman's offers a la carte sides, salads, grilled flatbread, dessert and a cocktail menu.

"We pictured it just being a dive bar for everyone working on the show, and maybe we get some word of mouth around town so others would start showing up," Reedus told THR of the former joke-turned-passion project. "Then, suddenly, a restaurant was happening."

Reedus stars in The Walking Dead, Sundays at 9/8c on AMC, and hosts his documentary reality travel series Ride With Norman Reedus, airing Mondays at 9/8c on AMC.
