Looks like Deadpool will be teaming up with Howard the Duck as part of Marvel’s Secret War event.

Writer Cullen Bunn has revealed that Howard will be teaming with Wade in the Contest of Champions backup story running in Deadpool’s Secret Secret Wars.

Contest of Champions was Marvel’s very first limited series, and had two teams of heroes battling each other over the life of the Collector. That story likely won’t have much to do with the Deadpool and Howard the Duck team-up.

The main story of Deadpool‘s Secret Secret Wars reveals Wade Wilson’s previously unknown role in the original Secret Wars story.

Deadpool’s Secret Secret Wars goes on sale May 20.
