Next Legend Of Zelda Console Game Still Releasing On Wii U In 2016

During today's Nintendo Direct, Nintendo confirmed that the next The Legend of Zelda console game is still planned for a 2016 release on Wii U.

This curtails rumors that the game would be delayed, or shifted off the console entirely and held back for release on the upcoming NXT.

The Nintendo Direct featured a very brief glimpse at the game, seen above.

The next Zelda game will create a new open-world for fans to explore as the beloved hero, Link.
