It's starting to feel as if director James Mangold is just taking pictures of random things and posting them on Instagram, and the latest teaser from the set of Logan doesn't dissuade from this theory.
The latest image shows a man in a prom tux behind a liquor store. The setting seems to be somewhere in El Paso according to the sign, and there is at least one person watching from the background. The picture is only captioned with the word "Prom".
As for the man in the tux, he's raising his hands with some significant effort showing in his face, leading one to assume that he is either using an unknown power set to lift or move something, or he is just going all out in an impromptu song and dance number. Given that it's behind a liquor store, it would seem he partook in their product at some point during the night, which it clearly is since the lights can be seen shining in the background.
What is known about Logan is that it takes place in the year 2024, and follows an older Wolverine who's powers are fading. Alongside him in this future world are Charles Xavier and Caliban, the former a shell of himself and the latter who helps Logan care for Xavier. In the newest poster for the film, a young girl's hand can be seen holding Logan's, which is expected to be X-23, though the origin will likely differ from the character's comic origins.
Logan stomps into theaters on March 3, 2017.
