According to a report from Bleeding Cool, the Poison Ivy role may have already been filled. The site claims that Megan Fox, star of Transformers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, has been making some moves that would indicate her involvement as the character.

The report states that the actress has been an avid comic book lover for years, and she has expressed interest in playing the role before. She has apparently stated that she’d like to play either Poison Ivy or Red Sonja.

The big clue, however, is that Megan Fox has recently been ordering some specific comics online. The actress has ordered Harley Quinn #14, #17 and #38 from DC comics. Those books are significant in that they are the first appearances of the relationship between Harley and Poison Ivy. The film is said to follow the relationship between the characters, so it seems as though Fox is studying up.

What’s even more telling about this scenario, is that Fox had the books sent to her address on Warner Bros. property. The combination of the specific books, mixed with the timing and location of the order, makes many speculate that Megan could already have a deal in place to play Poison Ivy.

No official word has come from Fox or Warner Bros. as of yet.
