The official soundtrack of Westworld‘s first season has been released online.
The freshman HBO show has become a hit among fans thanks in large part to its soundtrack. Of course, the brilliantly written 10-episode introduction, well above-average cinematography for television, and fantastic performances by the cast each share a portion of the credit.

However, when a new episode of Westworld begins, it is one of the few shows on television which will not allow you to look away from its opening credits because of the masterful piano score paired with an intriguing special effects showing.
The music of Westworld comes from Ramin Djawadi. Djawadi’s score in Westworld is second to none but his other projects stack up for an impressive resume. On the list of accomplishments for the musician are 2008’s Iron Man, Game of Thrones‘ iconic music such as “Light of the Seven” from the Season 6 finale, Pacific Rim and the hit video game Gears of War 4.
In addition to the original score for the episodes, the Westworld soundtrack includes Djawadi’s Radiohead, Soundgarden, the Cure, Amy Winehouse, the Animals, Radiohead and Nine Inch Nails.
Forget a holiday playlist. Go ahead and keep the Westworld soundtrack on a loop to maintain your sanity with your family throughout the weekend. It is simply impossible to listen to the soundtrack and not imagine scenes from the epic first season of the show and wish Season 2 were already upon us.
Westworld is expected to return for its second season on HBO in late 2017.
