While the upcoming Han Solo film has been in production for quite some time now, many have remained uncertain as to what to actually call it. The Star Wars anthology film has yet to adopt an official title, with fans calling it everything from Han Solo: A Star Wars Story to just Han Solo.

Although the Han Solo film’s title has yet to be announced by LucasFilm, new speculation suggests that we may have our first look at it – thanks to gifts given to the film’s crew.
MakingStarWars.Net recently posted a series of photos of the project’s crew t-shirt, the front of which is printed with “Star Wars – Solo – Crew 2017”, with the character’s DL-44 blaster standing in as the L. The back of the shirt is just as clever, featuring an image of a video camera with the line “We Shot First” – referencing the infamous fan debate sparked by the Han and Greedo altercation in A New Hope.
A second shirt, posted by La Fosa Del Rancor, was reportedly given to the film’s stunt crew members. This shirt features the same blaster design as the crew t-shirt, but with the title listed as “Han Solo.” You can see images of all three of the shirts in our gallery below.
With images of these shirts hitting the Internet, many are wondering if they give any indication of the film’s actual title. Judging by the precedent that other recent Star Wars films have set, it could be likely. Crew shirts for both Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Star Wars: The Last Jedi did not display the film’s title, instead opting for the film’s episode numbers.
But those for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the first anthology film in the Star Wars franchise, displayed the film’s full title or a slight variation to it. If the Han Solo film were to keep that precedent, these crew shirts could indicate that the film will simply be called Han Solo.
The untitled Han Solo movie will be in theaters May 25, 2018.
