Superman and Wonder Woman Man Of Steel

Here’s a crazy idea, which is a combination of fact and outrageous rumor. We know for a fact that Superman will be kissing Wonder Woman on the cover of the upcoming Justice League #12. Earlier today, Entertainment Weekly (owned by the same parent company as DC Comics) broke the news that Superman and Wonder Woman would become a couple in the New 52 version of the DC Universe. There has also been a rumor circulating for awhile that Wonder Woman might have a cameo in the upcoming Man Of Steel movie. Now, if Wonder Woman is going to appear in Man of Steel at all is definitely an unverified rumor, but it does make sense that Warner Bros. would start tying their DC Cinematic Universe together in the Man of Steel. Now, let’s take this rumor a step further. What if Superman and Wonder Woman lock lips in that rumored cameo? While it might seem far-fetched, it has been said that the Warner Bros. film people have been providing direction about Superman to the comic book people. Where did this information about the film people directing the comic book side come from? None other than former Superman comic book writer George Perez, who said at the Toronto Comic Con, “They have to deal with people producing the movie, who also had a say in what’s going on in the comic as well. My one fear, I’m not producing a comic, I’m producing a storyboard for a movie, that’s not what I wanted to do.”DC Comics Chief Creative Officer and Justice League writer Geoff Johns is also insisting the Superman and Wonder Woman hook-up isn’t just a one issue stunt and will be the new status quo. If the Man of Steel and Amazon Princess relationship is going to be ongoing in the comic books, then wouldn’t it be something that the film people would be planning to use as well (whether in Man of Steel or an eventual Justice League movie)?
