HBO has released the official poster for Game of Thrones Season 4. A couple of days ago HBO released a bevy of character posters just a couple of days ago focusing on the Lannisters, the Starks, Daenerys Targaryen and others, each with the High Valyrian words "Valar Morghulis" on them. The new poster features those words translated into common/English: "All Men Must Die." Beneath these words is the 3-eyed crow that Bran Stark has been seeing in his dream. The crow's body seems to be falling apart. Is this a sign of things to come? In Game of Thrones Season 4, in the wake of the Red Wedding, how does the North pick up the pieces and with their greatest enemy seemingly crushed, where does that leave the Lannisters. Daenerys Targaryen now has an army but is she ready to take back her homeland. Does Jon Snow turn south to seek revenge or remember his duty along the Wall? Game of Thrones Season 4 will primarily be based on the second half of George R.R. Martin's A Storm of Swords, the third book in his A Song of Ice and Fire series. The season will also take certain elements from the later books in the series that occur at, chronologically, the same time as A Storm of Swords. Game of Thrones Season 4 premieres on HBO on April 6, 2014.
