Director Bryan Singer has released another image from the set of X-Men: Apocalypse in Montreal to Instagram, and this time he’s teasing an appearance by Archangel.
We already know that Ben Hardy will playing Warren Worthington III in the film, and Singer has previously described him as “not a very nice angel,” BUT the use of the hashtag #Archangel in this photo is the first acknowledgement of that particular persona that we’ve seen. The item Singer is holding looks like it may be one Archangel’s metallic feather-blades.

While concept art was released, Hardy’s Angel is one of the few mutants in X-Men: Apocalypse that we haven’t seen an image of yet. Perhaps this photo indicates that Singer and his team are gearing up for a big reveal.
