After talks fell through with Joaquin Phoenix, a number of candidates’ names have come up, including Keanu Reeves and Ethan Hawke. Neither Marvel nor director Scott Derrickson, who has already arrived on the Disney lot to begin preliminary work on the film, have yet commented on the rumors.
