The Flash‘s pilot will be titled “City of Heroes” when it airs next Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW. That’s the same title as Arrow‘s Season Two premiere — and this clip is nearly identical to a clip released last year from Arrow when we first witnessed the birth of The Flash.

The clip features Barry Allen watching the Channel 8 News with Linda Park (who, in the comics, would eventually marry Barry’s nephew Wally, his successor as The Flash) when the S.T.A.R. Labs Particle Accelerator malfunctions and Barry is struck by lightning and bathed in chemicals.
