The Walking Dead Cast Complains About Norman Reedus Licking

The Walking Dead cast and crew spend a lot of time together in the hot Georgia summer months, so it’s no surprise that they might have a complaint or two about each other. In a video interview on Entertainment Weekly, The Walking Dead cast was asked to tell something about one of their castmates that they don’t want everyone to know.

“That Norman is disgusting, and he actually licks people,” said Lauren Cohan. “His greeting…his standard greeting is to lick someone’s face when we are covered in stuff like this [pointing to the dirt and grime on her arms]. Everybody this is…everybody.”

“You go on the red carpet with Norman, and he’s got the bird or the lick,” said Andrew Lincoln. “I think it begins with the bird, and then if you grow in confidence or if you really offend him, he will lick you. He’s a licker, not a fighter.”

Lincoln added, “He likes to wipe his dirt on people as well. That’s another thing. At the end of the day if you’re wearing white…never wear white around Norman Reedus…he wipes his face on people’s vests.”

The Walking Dead Season 5 is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, October 12 at 9 PM ET on AMC.
