Warner Bros. has released the first 10 minutes of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice - The Ultimate Edition online, which you can view below.
For those who haven't seen the original theatrical cut, the first 10 minutes of the film deals almost exclusively with Bruce Wayne. His origin as a superhero, as well as the origin of his animosity towards Superman, are the focus, and it gives an accurate glimpse of how the film plays out tonally.
The Ultimate Edition includes 30 minutes of extra footage, and while much of it is extended scenes here and there, there are a few scenes that either introduce new characters or help to solidify story beats and plot points.
The new cut also comes packed with special features, including Uniting the World’s Finest, Gods and Men: A Meeting of Giants, The Warrior, The Myth, The Wonder, Accelerating Design: The New Batmobile, Superman: Complexity & Truth, Batman: Austerity & Rage, Wonder Woman: Grace & Power, Batcave: Legacy of the Lair, The Might and the Power of a Punch, The Empire of Luthor, Save the Bats, and In The Shadows of the Gods, which can be viewed here.
Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice - The Ultimate Edition releases digitally today, and physically on DVD and Blu-ray on July 19th.
