Armie Hammer‘s name has been thrown around numerous times, saying that the actor has already been cast as Jordan by the DC executives. While the actor has teased fans on Twitter, nothing concrete has been revealed by his camp, or the studio.
After TheWrap revealed a supposed shortlist of actors DC is considering for the role, Hammer’s name was once again talked-about. Hammer was one of six actors mention, along with Tom Cruise, Ryan Reynolds, Bradley Cooper, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Joel McHale.
At the Sundance Film Festival, Hammer finally opened up about these rumors, saying the shortlist was the first he’s heard of the role.
In the video of the interview, it’s hard to tell how honest Hammer was being regarding the rumor. He had a smirk on his face, and it seems as though he could have been being secretive about the entire project.
Everyone knows that DC and Marvel like to keep details of their properties on the down-low, so there’s no telling what Hammer could actually know.
