During post-production on Justice League we learned that famed composer Danny Elfman had snuck a fun Easter egg into one track from the score - an ode to the classic Superman theme song by John Williams, used in the 1978 classic, Superman: The Movie.

Well, one DC Films fan quickly spotted that musical Easter egg in the "Friends and Foes" song from the Justice League soundtrack - listen for yourself, below (around :26)!

It's a cool little audio Easter egg on its own, but one has to wonder if the musical ode, combined with the track title, doesn't reveal something significant about Justice League's story.

For awhile now, there's been speculation that Henry Cavill's Superman could turn evil in Justice League, having been resurrected by Darkseid, ruler of Apokolips, and master of this film's primary villain, Steppenwolf. "Friends and Foes" might be a title that highlights a moment in the film when The Man of Steel returns - just in a twisted way his allies in the League never expected.

That's all speculation of course, but it would be a cool synchronization of sound and narrative, while also serving as a cool throwback.

Justice League will be in theaters on November 17th.
