Legends of Tomorrow fans, it is time you brushed up on your Arthurian lore. In a recent tweet, Marc Guggenheim revealed the title of the second season's twelfth episode, and it's not-so-subtly hinting at Camelot 3000.

"Production on DC's Legends of Tomorrow Ep. 212 begins today," Guggenheim caption his Twitter post. The producer shared a picture of the title page for "Camelot 3000." The episode, which is written by Anderson Mackenzie, will be directed by Antonio Negret. And, for DC Comics readers, they will be hard-pressed to overlook the episode and its familiar name.

Back in 1982, DC Comics first published a Camelot 3000 as part of a twelve-issue comic book series. As you may have guessed, the series has to do with King Arthur and his comrades, but there is a slight twist. The king and his Knights of the Round Table are all reincarnated in the comics and live in 3000 A.D. The world has become an overpopulated, apocalyptic version of its old self, and the King must band together with his old friends to defeat Morgan Le Fay yet again.

So far, there is little information on how or if the Legends of Tomorrow episode will tie into Camelot 3000. Fans have obviously began to wonder whether the Legends might get up to some time traveling shenanigans and find themselves encountering King Arthur and his men. The heroic team may meet the legendary figures either in the past or future, but either timeline would prove interesting for both fans and the Legends.

Just imagine what kind of hilarity would ensue should Rip meet the Arthurian heroes? If rumors are right, then the Time Master should be making his return to Legends of Tomorrow in time for "Camelot 3000," so fans will keep their fingers crossed.

For now, fans will have to wait and see how the alleged reference will affect Legends of Tomorrow. In the meantime, the series is quickly approaching its midseason finale as it airs next week. If you want to read the synopsis for "The Chicago Way," then you can check it out below:

"LEGION OF DOOM — When a new Time Aberration is discovered by the Legends, they find themselves headed to 1927 Chicago. The Legends quickly realize that they have been set up by Eobard Thawne (guest star Matt Letscher), Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) and the newest member of the Legion of Doom, Malcolm Merlyn (guest start John Barrowman).

While everyone is trying to help fix what they think is the mission, Jax (Franz Drameh) encourages a reluctant Stein (Victor Garber) to share his secret with the other Legends. Stein is taken captive and Sara (Caity Lotz) must make the tough choice of either stopping the Legion of Doom or saving Stein. Meanwhile, Rory (Dominic Purcell) gets an unexpected visitor and is not sure how to handle it. Brandon Routh, Nick Zano and Maisie Richardson-Sellers also star."

Ralph Hemecker directed the episode written by Sarah Nicole Jones & Ray Utarnachitt.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow airs Thursday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW. "The Chicago Way" will debut on December 8, 2016.
