When Legends of Tomorrow returned for its second season this fall, fans were excited to see Arthur Darvill reprise his role as Rip. However, that excitement died down when the character mysterious disappeared at the season's start, leaving fans to wonder just where Rip flitted off to. Now, fans may have just learned when and where Rip will make his return to Legends of Tomorrow thanks to some well-time tweets.

In a recent post, Hollywood North shared images from the set of Legends of Tomorrow. The picture shows a group of men dressed as Red Coat soldiers from the British Empire, and Darvill can be seen in rank amongst them. The beloved actor is shown sporting a long, red coat and powered wig underneath his military-issue hat. There are dozens of men standing alongside him, so fans are curious as to how the actor's return ties into Rip's comeback.

Right now, it is assumed that this scene will take place in "Turncoat," the eleventh episode of Season 2. If the episode features soldiers from the British Army, it may indicate that the Legends will travel back to the American Revolution. Since the term 'turncoat' refers to someone who deserts an organization to join an opposing one, the episode title may refer to Rip leaving the British Army to rejoin the team.

However, there are fans who believe the title may refer to another member of the Legends squad. The 'turncoat' reference has fans thinking a member might go rogue from the team, and fans believe that person will be Leonard "Captain Cold" Snart. The character was killed off last season, but Wentworth Miller confirmed his character would be coming back to the series. When he makes his comeback, the character will be part of the villainous Legion of Doom alongside the likes of Damien Darhk, Reverse-Flash, and Malcolm Merlyn.

Fans will have to wait until "Turncoat" airs to find out just who the title is referring to, but it is nice to see Darvill back on set. The actor was a mainstay last season, and fans clamored over his work. DC's Legends of Tomorrow marks the actor's most notable TV role since his stint on Doctor Who, and fans felt it was appropriate that the actor was cast as a time-traveling hero for the project.
