When you look at this DC Comics Variant Harley Quinn Play Arts Kai figure, can you tell that the man behind the design worked on Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts? His name is Tetusya Nomura, and his other work for Square Enix on their DC Variants has resulted in some of the most interesting figures in the Play Arts Kai lineup. He’s done Catwoman in the past, along with an insane Joker variant that is the perfect companion for this badass nurse Harley figure.

The official description reads:

Cold-blooded, yet in some ways charming. Harley Quinn, the female villain deeply in love with Batman’s arch-enemy, the Joker, now appears as a Variant Play Arts Kai action figure designed by Tetsuya Nomura! Her costume takes inspiration from a nurse’s outfit and adds what could be identified as her signature colors, black and red, to the overall white color scheme. This coquettish design expresses her character and personality. A syringe-shaped weapon and armor appear upon deconstructing her mallet. Also included with this figure are various other accessories that help showcase the various sides of Harley Quinn. The DC Comics Variant Harley Quinn Play Arts Kai Action Figure measures approximately 10 3/4-inches tall x 3 1/8-inches wide x 2 1/8-inches long. Harley’s mallet measures about 12-inches long x 5 3/4-inches wide x 1 1/4-inches tall. The plastic figure comes included with a display stand and comes packaged in a window box.

Like the Joker figure before it, this Harley figure (via Toyark) is like getting multiple figures for the price of one thanks to accessories that transform her from Nurse Harley to Armored Combat Harley. That’s a good thing because the price tag is just as crazy as the figures. The Joker figure runs $300 while the Harley figure comes in at $250, and both are available to pre-order with a shipping date of October and January respectively.
