The dark world the Suicide Squad inhabits was party diffused thanks to a renewed focus on humor and psychedelic visual design, but what if the film had done the opposite?

A new fan trailer might provide the answer to that question, as YouTube user Ryan Ziegler posted a recut trailer for Suicide Squad with a horror focus. Scenes involving the Enchantress and Joker are a big part of the trailer, but Harley, Deadshot, Inferno, and Killer Croc all make appearances as well.

What helps it all come together is the unsettling theme, which comes by way of Capcom’s critically acclaimed Resident Evil 7. The theme is called “Go Tell Aunt Rhody” and paired with the spastic movements of Enchantress and Harley’s unique brand of crazy the trailer takes on a whole new feel. You half expect one of the Bakers to jump out right in the middle of it, a credit to the tone the music sets.

You can watch the full fan trailer above.
