Call of Duty: WWII may be just around the corner, but in the meantime, good old dependable Call of Duty: Black Ops III is still going strong. Black Ops III recently received a new exploit-squashing patch, and now developer Treyarch have added two new guns and a camo to the game’s Black Market. Let’s run through all the new additions, shall we?
The first new weapon is the XMC submachine gun, which is basically an updated version of the MSMC submachine gun from Call of Duty: Black Ops II. The MSMC was one of the most powerful and popular SMGs in Black Ops II, so competitive types should be eager to get their hands back on it in Black Ops III.

The other new weapon is the Olympia Shotgun, also originally seen in Call of Duty: Black Ops II. The Olympia wasn’t a big hit with competitive types, but it’s certainly an attractive gun, and it factors heavily into Zombies mode, so most Black Ops players are pretty familiar with it.
Finally, we also have the Empire weapon camo, which is a bit ugly (although CoD camos get much worse). All these new goodies can be acquired through opening supply drops, so start digging in those loot boxes!
As mentioned, Call of Duty: Black Ops III recently got an update, which patches up a number of issues and eliminates a wide variety of Zombies Chronicles exploits. You can get the full notes for that patch, right here. Meanwhile, in other CoD news, Call of Duty: WWII‘s closed beta kicks off on August 25 on PS4. Lots going on!
