The Power Rangers Legacy Wars roster is getting some new fighters, and now fans have their first look at the powerful Ninjor in action.

Ninjor is a fan favorite from the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers era, and he will make his debut in the game soon alongside the Putty from the Power Rangers reboot. Thanks to some new footage, fans can get an idea of what the powerful ally plays like, and he’s putting on a mighty good showing.
The first set of footage (via Neo-Saban Power Rangers) gives an up-close look at his class and overall abilities, starting with the Leader version. For those who aren’t familiar with Legacy Wars, the game splits characters into two categories, Leaders and Assists.
Leaders act as the primary portion of your team and have several abilities along with additional talents that you can unlock. The Leader version of Ninjor is a Defender class, which typically come with a useful blocking ability like the Blue Movie Ranger’s EMP blast.
Ninjor contains two strike attacks as well, including the Katana Triple Strike and Deceptive Dash. He also has a breaker attack called the Burning Ninja, which breaks blocks and also pushes opponents back, and his special block ability is called Waiting Game.
The assist version of Ninjor comes with one breaker ability called Thunder Storm, which sounds pretty amazing. Here is the description:
“Ninjor hops on his cloud and flies across the screen to inflict some Ninja damage.”
Anytime someone can literally fly on a cloud and still look menacing is an achievement all its own.
So now that you know all the details, the question is, “how does he actually fight?” Well, glad you asked. Hit the next slide to get some analysis of how the powerful warrior looks in action.
So, How Does He Play?
Right out of the gate his Katanaย Triple Strike is just how it sounds, but the good news is he moves forward with every strike as opposed to just at the beginning. He doesn’t dash as slow as you might expect either, and his stance is, well, pretty fantastic.
His breaker has him jumping in the air and bringing his katanaย down overhead, but again, for a breaker, it executesย ratherย quickly.
Fans will love his Waiting Time blocking maneuver, as he parriesย and then seemingly teleportsย up and brings his katanaย down on his opponent.ย
As for his assist attack, remember how it was described earlier? Yeah, it looks as crazy as you would expect, and just as awesome. Ninjorย hovers in the air aboard a cloud and shoots forward, charging the opponent. The charge itself counts as a hit, and then he gives them an additional slash to finish things off.
From the footage, it looks like Ninjorย will be a Leader and Assist of choice once he hits the game.
