The Assassin’s Creed series is no stranger to throwing in Easter eggs throughout the games, and it looks as though Assassin’s Creed Origins follows suit with a neat moment where it pays homage to Doctor Who.

Origins’ Doctor Who reference might not look like much to those who pass by it quickly, so it’s entirely possible that you might not have noticed the Easter egg yet at all. But if you are a fan of the time-traveling Doctor Who and you’ve been active in Origins since it was recently released, you’ll definitely want to make a trip over to this iconic, sunken structure to see if for yourself.
A Sunken Tardis
If you find yourself near Letopolis when guiding Bayek throughout ancient Egypt, take a dip in the water and you just might come across this Doctor Who Easter egg.
Down at the bottom of the body of water, partially buried in the dirt, is a massive stone Tardis from Doctor Who. Without its signature color, you might swim past it without a second glance, but its markings are unmistakable for anyone who knows even a little about the TV show.
The unique find was first posted on Reddit where a player provided evidence of the Easter egg, another picture shown here, and provided its general location. This is likely just the first of many Easter eggs in Origins, but it’s definitely one worth stumbling across.
