Call Of Duty: WWII Gets An Awesome Zombie Camo For A Pre-Order Bonus

We've already seen a few pre-order initiatives for Call of Duty: WWII, including awesome baseball caps to wear in real life, as well as other downloadable goodies. However, Activision has an offer that might just hook you, if the previous ones haven't quite yet.

The company has introduced another pre-order bonus for the game, and if you manage to reserve it – for PlayStation 4, Xbox One or PC – you'll get a sweet camo for your gun. Only it's not your typical camo.

This is one based on the just-revealed Call of Duty: WWII Zombies mode, which looks pretty insane in its own right. It still has all the effect of a normal gun, but it has lightning bolts that surround it, colored with a purple-ish hue. And, as you can see in the GIF below, it's pretty damn amazing.

Now, a weapon like this obviously didn't exist in World War II, so the realism might be thrown off a tinge if you try to shoot enemies with the gun. But, honestly, it only works with the nature of the Zombies mode, so since you'll be going up a number of nearly unstoppable undead soldiers, recrafted in a mess of blood and metal, a bad-ass glowing rifle is just the thing we need.

Activision didn't note whether the rifle would be limited to certain retailers, but it's not really looking that way, so you should be able to snag it from GameStop, Best Buy or even Amazon to get a hold of the skin. Just don't be surprised if it becomes a popular weapon camo, especially with the feedback we've been getting from the trailer that dropped earlier today.

Call of Duty: WWII will release on November 3rd for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
