Destiny 2: Massive Leak Shows Future Faction Weapon Rewards

Arguably the most exciting part of earning tokens and reputation for your Faction is trading it all in for legendary gear and weapons! Luckily, we don’t have to wait to see what rewards are coming down the road, because some curious Reddit sleuths browsing the armory in the Destiny Tracker have uncovered a fortune of leaked images showing future weapon rewards for each faction!

If you don’t want to be spoiled — if you want all of these weapons to be a surprise as you uncover them engram by engram — then look away now. We’ll begin with the future rewards for the Future War Cult (because Future War Cult is the best).

Future War Cult

For those of you donning the purple, yellow, and red, Future War Cult has some delicious offerings in store. We’re excited to see the return of that beautiful Fusion Rifle which, if it’s anything like the FWC Fusion Rifle in the original Destiny, will end up being a favorite in the Crucible.

I’ll be honest, I’m a little disappointed in the lack of long-range weapons, but then I suppose that is fitting. Future War Cult is all about intelligent aggression, and getting close and personal with your foes. I’m in it for that submachine gun. Let’s see what New Monarchy has to offer.

New Monarchy

The crimson elitists have a great line-up to look forward to as well. In fact, I may even consider switching colors next time a faction rally goes live, because I need to see what “The Good Counsel” is all about. I’m getting sick of seeing the MIDA Multi-Tool in every single Crucible match from multiple players on both sides, so I’m hoping that this is one Scout Rifle that may shake up the meta a bit.

Alright, let’s wrap up with Dead Orbit! Their leader is a little too emo for my taste, but dang if they don’t know how to curate a great arsenal.

Dead Orbit

Dead Orbit, while they have the coolest looking armor rewards, is offering some mediocre weapons in the next rally. We’re pretty bummed that Omolon isn’t returning with its Hung Jury just yet, not only because it looked incredible, but because we miss that Firefly perk that made precision-killed enemies explode.
