We’ve seen many agents come and go from the international peacekeeping organization known as SHIELD over the years.
But while many of them have left due to fatal blows suffered in the line of duty, both Nick Blood‘s Lance Hunter and Adriane Palicki’s Bobbi Morse were forcefully exiled and disavowed from the spy agency.

And now one of them might be returning to Agents of SHIELD when it returns from hiatus.
The latest mid-season twist saw many characters enter into a mysterious construct called the Framework, a technological macguffin that allows the story to take a House of M-like twist in which everyone is happy and all their dreams came true.
But Chloe Bennet’s Daisy Johnson finds herself waking up to a relationship with none other than Brett Dalton’s Grant Ward, a character who died in season 3.
Now Instagram posts have shown Nick Blood hanging out with Iain De Caestecker, the actor who portrays Leo Fitz.
Could Blood be returning to the show as a member of the idealized alternate reality in which everyone has their Hydra cake and eats it, too?
Or could we see Hunter lead an attempt to rescue their former colleagues from the outside, going against Aida and their Life Model Decoy counterparts?
Or maybe it’s just a couple of buddies buying matching tops and hanging out on their off time? The two do hang out together quite a bit…
Hopefully it’s not the latter, and we get to see some familiar Most Wanted faces when Agents of SHIELD returns on April 4. In the meantime, check out our interview with producer Jed Whedon to find out what’s in store for the team when the show comes back.
