Marvel fans finally got their first look at Brie Larson in costume, and now the anticipated Captain Marvel film has a new working title.

It's a quite fitting one too, as Production Weekly reveals the working title is Open World. Captain Marvel has always bounced between adventures on Earth and the cosmos, and that's without throwing the Quantum-verse into the thick of things, which has been rumored to be a significant part of her adventures.

Then factor in the Skrulls and you've definitely got an open world full of possibilities.

All of these concepts don't mean much if the character isn't captivating, and Brie Larson is committed to bringing this hero to the screen in the best way possible.

"I find it's really hard for me to condense what she means to me," Larson said. "I was once a young girl and I was confused by what a hero was and what I wanted to be when I grow up and what was important to me. And so, I think it's so complicated growing up and to attempt to become a symbol of truth and navigating through all the weird questions of growing up feels so, I'm getting emotional just talking about this, it feels so important to me. When it comes to her, I mean just the fact that she can be a bridge between two worlds, that she can go between Earth and space and that her own personal place is in this little area between where Earth ends and space begins and that's only hers is so moving to me. I'm just inspired."

Captain Marvel currently enjoys a 3.79 out of 5 on ComicBook.com's anticipation rankings, placing it in the #10 spot. You can submit your score for the film here.

First up though is Black Panther, which lands in theaters on February 16th. Next is Avengers: Infinity War, which hits on May 4th, and that is followed by Ant-Man and The Wasp, which hits on July 6th. Captain Marvel soars into theaters on March 8, 2019.
