The first three chapters of Legion has drawn the eye's attention like a magnet -- and the positive reviews have the show No. 1 in the ComicBook.com User TV Show Rating -- but now the other senses can keep feeling it when the credits finish rolling.

The original soundtrack for Legion Season One, composed by Jeff Russo (with two prior Emmy nominations for work on Fargo) is for sale digitally today on iTunes with physical releases coming in March, but can be pre-ordered on Amazon.

As a bonus, two tracks from the series that aren't included in the soundtrack release are exclusively available to fans on ComicBook.com.

[LEGION THEORY: Who is the Devil with Yellow Eyes?]

The full Legion soundtrack colors in a broad horizon with influences ranging from Pink Floyd to experimental audio techniques designed to have you questioning your own reality in the same way David does his. Perhaps, like other ambitiously recorded albums before it, it should come with a warning not to listen to while driving: be mindful of hallucinations.

The soundtrack release is sequenced in an appealing order nonetheless and will give fans of the series (or those who haven't seen it) plenty to enjoy. The 20 tracks range from twitchy electric symphonies to prog-rock epics with dissonant strings integrated in the running order to keep anyone listening from resting too easily.

The extra exclusive tracks for ComicBook could give Legion diehards plenty to think about whichever direction they're played in.

First Entry Into Clockworks might have you thinking about the Clockworks Psychiatric Hospital from the first chapter once again. It's hard to say what was happening there, as David may only be showing his observers in the audience the parts of Clockworks he wants them to see.

Chasing David is even less familiar, but sets the mood for five remaining episodes of Legion's first season perfectly. Who's chasing David? Or is "chasing" what David is doing himself? Presumably both meanings can apply, because Legion allows the mind to fill in the details.

Mastermind filmmakers have demanding standards for the sound that give their creations the weight to hit the viewer's brain with full force. Stanley Kubrick, perhaps the mind's true master, was infamously refused the right to use Pink Floyd's "Atom Heart Mother" in A Clockwork Orange.

Music this forward-thinking is what Legion needs to have the impact it aims for on the future of television and X-Men stories on the screen. By listening to these tracks early, fans everywhere can brace for landing.
