Morena Baccarin Wishes Deadpool Co-Star Ryan Reynolds Luck At Golden Globes

Ryan Reynolds will be in attendance at tonight’s Golde Globe Awards ceremony. Deadpool is nominated for Best Musical or Comedy Motion Picture and Reynolds personally is nominated for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy Motion Picture.

Deadpool and Reynolds are considered underdogs to win at the Golden Globe Awards, but at least one of Reynolds’ Deadpool co-stars if wishing him “good luck” in hopes of Reynolds leaving the show with a Golden Globe in hand.

Morena Baccarin, who played Deadpool female lead Vanessa, tweeted a good luck message to Reynolds, referring to him as “pizza face,” and including a Golden Girls hashtag and photos of the two of them on the Deadpool set.

If most analysts are to be believed, Reynolds will need all the luck he can get if Deadpool is to score a win tonight. Deadpool has been the little superhero movie that could so far, so we’ll have to wait and see if that indomitability translates into an award.

Based upon Marvel Comics‘ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool.
