New Iron Man Debuts in Invincible Iron Man #518

Iron Man is one of those roles--a bit like Green Lantern or Thor--where the hardware is so inextricably bound to the identity that there have been a number of people to take on the identity over the years. Sometimes they're even fan favorites (although sometimes it's a mess), but in the end, the Silver Age version always returns to its preeminent space on the roster. So it's neither very earth-shattering that there's a new Iron Man debuting in next month's Invincible Iron Man #518, nor very suspenseful when Marvel asks if Tony Stark will make it out of the story alive. Of course he will--he's the franchise. He's Robert Downey, Jr. The real question is what the new Iron Man is doing wearing one of the costumes from DC's Teen Titans/Ravagers crossover.
