It must be the official Avengers Birthday Month.

Robert Downey Jr. received some well wishes earlier this week, including a great .gif posted on Twitter from Chris Evans. But Iron Man getting kissed by Captain America was but one of the hilarious animated images posted to celebrate a birthday.
Not to be outdone, friends and colleagues of Paul Rudd posted to the Ant-Man star’s social media accounts in celebration of his 48th year of existence.
โจRudd joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Scott Lang when he was featured in 2015’s Ant-Man, in which he raided the Avengers’ closet so he could steal a MacGuffin under the nose of Anthony Mackie’s portrayal of the Falcon.
Falcon then went on to recruit Lang into Captain America’s team of criminals in Civil War, the film which also saw Spider-Man make his MCU.

And though Rudd has never appeared on screen with Mark Ruffalo‘s Bruce BannerโAKA the Hulkโthe two are starring together in the forthcoming Avengers: Infinity War. Plus, the two made quite the careers playing the male love interest in numerous romantic comedies due to their wit and charm, so it only makes sense that they’re kindred in some capacity.
Ruffalo wished his fellow Avenger a happy birthday with a humorous callback to a hilarious encounter at San Diego Comic-Con, while Rudd’s Ant-Man and the Wasp director Peyton Reed also jumped in by getting his name spelled correctly at a Starbucks.
Check out the following slides to see how Rudd’s fellow MCU colleagues wished the Ant-Man actor a happy birthday.
