Chinese audiences may have had an extended wait to see Marvel's Spider-Man: Homecoming in theaters, but at least they got some of the best posters for the movie.
Spider-Man: Homecoming's Chinese posters, which can all be seen in the attached gallery, range from adorable to insane. One shows Spidey surrounded by pandas, and another shows him riding horseback on a wall. Yet another shows Spidey mingling with China's Terracotta Army, and another shows him taking a nap in a web hammock above the Great Wall.
The domestic posters for Spider-Man: Homecoming werenotoriously bad, but international markets have picked up the slack, with the creator of One-Punch Man contributing to the beautiful Japanese poster.
Spider-Man: Homecoming won't open in China, the second largest market a the box office, until September, but the film has already had a stellar international run. The film's grossed over $730 million worldwide and is expected to top $780 million. Currently, the film has earned $418.2 million internationally and has achieved $318.9 million domestically, surpassing the domestic box office total of Iron Man.
