Thor: Ragnarok is officially the highest-grossing Thor film of them all.

Thor: Ragnarok has now grossed nearly $212 million domestically and $489 million internationally, giving it a box office total of over $650 million in just three weeks.

Comparatively, in their entire theatrical runs, the original Thor grossed $181 million domestically and $286.2 million internationally for a worldwide total of $449 million, and Thor: The Dark World grossed $206 million domestically and $438.2 million internationally for a worldwide total of $644.5 million.

In China, in a single weekend, Thor: Ragnarok nearly out-grossed Thor: The Dark World's lifetime total in the region.

Thor: Ragnarok is having a lot of success and many fans credit that to its tonal departure from the previous Thor movie. Thor: Ragnarok itself had a little fun at the expense of its predecessors during a scene in the film.

Thor: Ragnarok is Marvel Studios' 17th consecutive film to open at number one at the box office. The success of the Thor: Ragnarok has made the Marvel Cinematic Universe the first franchise in history to earn more than $5 billion at the domestic box office.

Thor: Ragnarok currently has an 84.52 ComicBook.com Composite score, the sixth highest composite score of any comic book movie.
