Unboxing Marvel HeroClix: Civil War

ComicBook.com is pleased to present another HeroClix unboxing, this time featuring Marvel’s Civil War. While the unboxing video features the already released set based on the Marvel Studios film Captain America: Civil War, we’re highlighting the brand Civil War Organized Play Storyline Event that will run through Summer 2016.

The Civil War OP Series is based on the comic book event that inspired the film. The set features Marvel characters divided into Team Captain America and Team Iron Man, with Team Captain America figures featuring a navy blue base and Team Iron Man featuring bright red bases. Players will participate in a variety of battle royale and Swiss tournament scenarios in which they’ll declare themselves for Team Iron Man or Team Cap and build a team using members of their faction.

Each month participants can win one of six prize figures. The prizes include Captain Marvel, Night Nurse, the Punisher in his Baxter Building infiltration suit, Sentry, and limited edition Captain America and Iron Man figures. Participants who play through the summer event will have the opportunity to win one or more of the eight grand prize figures, which include Captain America vs. Iron Man, Captain IronMerica, Namor, Black Panther, Cloak & Dagger, Ragnarok, Dr. Strange, and an unmasked Spider-Man.
