20th Century Fox is adding to the already stacked line up which is the character list in Deadpool 2.

Already in place for the highly anticipated sequel are Deadpool, Colossus, Domino, and Cable. Now, the recently delayed production is looking to add a trio of known mutant characters from Marvel Comics to that list, if only in brief form.

The previous Deadpool film did not introduce any new characters but teased the involvement of Cable, who we now know will be played by Josh Brolin. For the sequel, the ending will be a bit more revealing. Sources tell ComicBook.com the new characters will appear in a post-credits tag scene attached to Deadpool 2 which will set up the upcoming X-Force movie.

Sunspot

Sunspot.

Real name Roberto DaCosta, Sunspot is a mutant character who first manifested his powers at the age of 14 when he was playing in his championship soccer match for his school team in Rio de Janeiro. In doing so, he realized he can become cloaked in darkness which was done in an effort to stop a bully. Absorbing all of the light increases his physical strength.

He is more commonly known for his adult form, which has been self-described as a hot-headed jerk on the pages of Marvel Comics.

Sunspot previously appeared in film, being played by Adan Canto in X2: X-Men United and X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Feral

Feral.

Real name Maria Callasantos, Feral is the sister of Thornn who first appeared in New Mutants #99 in March of 1991. The cat-like mutant has a feline appearance, enhanced senses and agility, an impressive healing factor, sharp claws, fangs, and a prehensile tail. She has a lot in common with a really mean cat.

Maria grew up in New York City with her older sister, Lucia, who turned out to also be a mutant, and their two completely human siblings Matteo and Carolina (for the brief length she lived before falling down the stairs under Maria’s watch).

Maria has been active member of the X-Force.

Shatterstar

Shatterstar.

Real name Gaveedra Seven, Shatterstar has existed in Marvel Comics under several aliases which include Benjamin Russell, Star, and Star Face. He is the son of Dazzler and Longshot and, thanks to the time travel story lines often created in comics, is responsible for the creation of Longshot.

Shatterstar is known to have eyes which appear to be clear or silvery, hollow bones, and being lighter than the average person. He is active with the X-Force, thanks to time travel which pitted him with Cable to found the new team ahead of their battle with Mojo.
