If you don’t want to know what happens in the after the credits scene for Captain America: The Winter Soldier, then stop reading now. Marvel Studios has done some pre-screenings of Captain America: The Winter Soldier with executives, advertisers, and test audiences. We have not seen the film, but there’s already some buzz out there about what happens in the after the credits scene. There’s also some buzz that there might be both a mid-credits and a true posts-credits scene, but we haven’t been able to confirm this. What has been said by multiple sources is that Pietro & Wanda Maximoff make their big screen debut in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Of course, as comic book fans know, Wanda & Pietro Maximoff are the brother and sister team that are better known as the Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver. Joss Whedon has previously confirmed that both will be part of Avengers: Age of Ultron.Pietro & Wanda are said to be referred to as “The Twins” in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and they make their debut in an after the credits scene. As we said, we haven’t seen the film ourselves, but Marvel has already cast the roles of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. Elizabeth Olsen is playing Scarlet Witch, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson is playing Quicksilver. With Fox set to introduce their version of Quicksilver in X-Men: Days of Future Past, it certainly makes sense that Marvel Studios would want to get their version on the big screen first (and Captain America: The Winter Soldier is their big opportunity to do so). Also, and we’re not sure if this site has seen a test screening or not, but LaineyGossip.com makes reference to having seen “The Twins” in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and reports that they don’t look like any Marvel heroes that have been shown on the big screen to date. The other buzz about Captain America: The Winter Soldier that has emerged from the test screenings is that the film is really good. Some are calling it the best movie from Marvel Studios to date and definitely the best of Marvel Studios Phase 2 so far.Captain America: The Winter Soldier is scheduled to be released in on April 4, 2014.
