While several characters have died throughout the Fast And Furious franchise, losing Han was a particularly difficult blow for fans. The guy had a heart of gold, and he was often the voice of reason during his run on the films.
Han was killed by Deckard Shaw at the end of the sixth movie – Well, technically in the third movie but who’s counting – and it was a bit of a tearful goodbye.

His death seemed like a pretty definitive affair, but we’ve learned that nothing is definitive in the Furious films. In fact, screenwriter Chris Morgan told Slashfilm that he’s considered bringing Han back around again.
“Now, that’s funny because I’ve actually been thinking about that a lot. So it’s interesting that you and I are on the same wavelength there. But I guess we’ll just have to wait and find out. I love Sung โ he’s one of my favorite people on the planet.”
This could mean that Han is coming back from the dead in the ninth film, but it could also mean that the timeline will bend once again. Remember, Han was killed in the third film, Tokyo Drift. However, he appeared in the next three movies because the franchise altered the timeline to take place before Tokyo Drift.
Yeah, it’s pretty complicated. Don’t complain though, because any way to add Han back into the mix would be more than welcome.
