Could there be a little bit of a war brewing between Warner Bros. and Marvel Studios? When Warner Bros. announced they were delaying the release date of Batman Vs. Superman, they moved the film to a date that Marvel Studios had previously announced an untitled Marvel film. It was a bold move by Warner Bros., setting up a head-to-head showdown with Marvel. Many have been speculating over if Marvel will stick fast to their original date or move their untitled film to a date where they won't have to go head-to-head with Batman Vs. Superman. In the old Batman Vs. Superman release date, Warner Bros. announced they would be releasing a new Peter Pan movie, probably expecting the film wouldn't face much competition since other studios had shied away from that release date when they thought their film would have to go up against Batman Vs. Superman. Now, Marvel Studios appears to have launched their revenge. Marvel has just announced that they are moving Ant-Man ahead two weeks to occupy the former release date of Batman Vs. Superman. Ant-Man will be released on July 17, 2015, likely making for a much more difficult time for Peter Pan at the box office. Ant-Man stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man and Michael Douglas as Hank Pym.
