Fan favorite artists John Cassaday is returning to Marvel Comics to draw a short story in the upcoming Captain America 75th Anniversary Magazine Special.

Cassaday did not name the writer of the story, but he did share a work in progress drawing via Facebook, embedded below.

Cassaday drew a short but celebrated run on Captain America in 2002, and drew the character again for the first four issues of Uncanny Avengers. His best known Marvel work is on Astonishing X-Men with writer Joss Whedon. More recently, Cassaday was the launch artist for Marvel's new Star Wars series. Outsde of Marvel, his best known work is the Wildstorm series Planetary with Warren Ellis.

The Captain America 75th Anniversary Magazine Special is solicited for release in March.
