Avengers Age Of Ultron: Thomas Kretschmann Cast As Baron Wolfgang von Strucker

is reporting that Thomas Kretschmann has been cast as Baron Wolfgang von Strucker in Avengers: Age of Ultron.Kretschmann is currently playing Abraham van Helsing in NBC’s Dracula, and previous credits include roles in Wanted and Peter Jackson’s King Kong.Baron von Strucker is a Nazi scientist who becomes the leader of the Hydra organization, seen previously in Captain America: The First Avenger. Baron von Strucker would be the second villain making an appearance in the film, joining Ultron, who will be played by James Spader.Avengers: Age of Ultron is scheduled for theatrical release May 1, 2015.
