"Bizarre" New Book Teased For All-New Marvel Now

There's a "bizarre" new title set to be announced as part of Marvel's ongoing All-New Marvel Now publishing initiative, the publisher teased today. Written by Peter Milligan and featuring art by David Lafuente, the series is being teased with one of the more unusual of the teasers Marvel has used--if for no other reason tahn "bizarre" is a word we only got in e-mail. The image at right, obviously, features something else--something very recognizably Doop-y. So, apparently Milligan (who previously wrote the character in X-Statix) and Lafuente will take on a Doop series. It's hard to imagine the character supporting an ongoing title on his own, so expect a miniseries, or something with "X" in the title and lots of other characters around. Possibly both. Note: This totally missed us on the first pass, and we were mocked for it by friends and loved ones. We'll almost certainly know tomorrow or early next week; the time between when these teasers hit and when the announcement itself is made has been dwindling to almost nothing.
