David Lapham, the indie superstar behind Stray Bullets and Vertigo's Young Liars, will join the creative team of DC's Dial H for an issue in November, drawing the issue to give Mateus Santolouco a chance to take a breather.

Artist extraordinaire, David Lapham (Stray Bullets, Fringe: Tales From The Fringe, Silverfish) joins China Miéville for a stand-alone story where Nelson is stuck inside his house after he dials up a politically incorrect hero and Manteau reveals some of her forbidden and dangerous guises in the Refusenik Dossier.

"Dial H is one of those offbeat comic concepts like The Creeper or Doom Patrol or Metal Men that every artist and comics lover digs and secretly wants to draw," said Lapham in the official announcement. "It's a crazy trip into your imagination, and I can't wait to dig in to China Miéville's off beat and very funny script and do it justice."
