Freebirds

It looks like the food ole boys of Badstreet, USA are joining the likes of Sting and the Godfather in this year's Hall of Fame inductees.

The Fabulous Freebirds, consisting of Michael "PS" Hayes, Buddy "Jack" Roberts, Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy, Jimmy Garvin were a ground breaking tag team who invented the "Freebird Rule" in tag teams. With their Southern Pride attire and rocking to the entrance music of Lynnrd Skynnrd and Willie Nelson, the Freebirds have a career that spans across the AWA, the GWF, the NWA, WCCW, and briefly the WWF.

Hayes and Garvin are the only surviving members, but we're sure both Gordy (who passed away in 2001) and Roberts (died in 2012) will get a posthumous induction. Congratulations to these fine men as they finally make their way to the Hall of Fame.
