Over at director James Gunn's twitter, he announced a development with the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel: the first draft of the script is done!

On his Facebook page,Gunn posted "Phew. After 48 days straight without a day off, the the first draft of #GotG2 is done. I'm sorry to all my friends and family who I have ignored."
The subtitle isn't even mentioned, if there is one added later, adding more to the mystery of everyone's favorite band of space misfits.
Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is scheduled to be released on May 5, 2017.
