IDW Publishing has partnered with 44Flood to present Libretto, an anthology that brings together artists from across the spectrum of mediums to explore a single theme. Works of oil paiting, photography, comics, sculpting and more will all be represented within its pages. Libretto Volume 1 is themed on Vampirism, considered as a misuse and abuse of power and as the exploitation of others. Libretto Volume 1: Vampirism is curated and edited by Kasra Ghanbari. "We're excited to have LIBRETTO launch our partnership with IDW," said Ghanbari, CEO of 44FLOOD. "LIBRETTO has both narrative and symbolic works, comic book panels and gallery paintings, alchemical approaches and comedy. It celebrates the ability of art to affect the way we consider and see the world." Libretto Volume 1: Vampirism will be a 200-page softcover featuring work from Ben Templesmith, David Stoupakis, Riley Rossmo, Christopher Mitten, George Pratt, menton3, and others. Some of the artists also present a look at the techniques and processes that went into creating their contributions to the anthology. 44FLOOD is an artist collective and publisher formed by Kasra Ghanbari, Ben Templesmith, and menton3. Libretto Volume 1: Vampirism will be released in April 2014.
